Jamnagar’s Dinesh Lagariya honoured with ‘Sena Medal’ for his bravery during Operation Sindoor
On the occasion of Army day, Dinesh Lagariya Gujarat was awarded the ‘Sena Medal’ in Jaipur for destroying terrorist hideouts during ‘Operation Sindoor’, India’s retaliation to Pahalgam terror attack in April 2025.
Who is Dinesh Lagariya?
Dinesh Palabhai Lagariya comes from Gujarat’s Madhupur village, Khambhaliya in Jamnagar, and is serving in the 12th Battalion of the Indian Army, the Grenadiers Regiment. He was awarded the Seva Medal at a special ceremony organized in Jaipur on the occasion of Army Day for showing bravery during Operation Sindoor.

During Operation Sindoor, Dinesh was posted in Jammu and Kashmir. He is serving in the 12th battalion and was responsible for stopping the firing and bombing. To achieve this, he bravely used an anti-guided missile and successfully eliminated the terrorists who were hiding and firing from their positions.
