Idol damaged, donation box of temple stolen by miscreants in Dakor

The anti-social elements have once again targeted a place of faith in Gujarat, after the Ganesh pandals were targeted in Surat, Vadodara, Bharuch, and Kutch. This time, an idol of Shanidev was damaged by miscreants in Dakor, and the donation box of the temple was also stolen.

According to reports, the incident took place late at night on September 18, at the temple of Lord Shani in front of Pulha Ashram in Dakor.

As soon as the information was received, a police convoy rushed to the spot. The police have registered a case and are conducting further investigation.

Earlier, a Hanuman statue was also damaged late at night in Vadodara’s sensitive area of Bhutdi Zampa, on the night of Ganesh Visarjan (September 17).
