Hunting gone wrong! Man accidently shoots self to death in Morbi

A man was fatally shot on Sunday night near Vavaniya in Morbi while he was out on a hunting trip, suspectedly by his own gun, and his body was sent to the hospital for a post-mortem examination. 

In the preliminary findings of the Maliya Miyana Police Station, it was revealed that the man was carrying a gun for hunting when his bike slipped, accidentally discharging the firearm and resulting in his death.  

38-year-old Wasim Piludiya was sent for a forensic post-mortem examination. The initial probe suggested that the deceased had gone hunting when his bike slipped, causing the accidental firing of the gun, which led to his death.  

However, the police are investigating whether the man was alone or was accompanied by someone and whether the firearm involved was licensed.
