After teachers fled abroad on government payroll, reports reveal health centre government officials's long absence.

Reports suggest two employees of the health department in Banaskantha district panchayat, have been absent from their jobs while staying abroad for a long time.  Hardik Savaj from the Kakar Primary Health Centre and Prakash Desai of Navavas Primary Health Centre were found to be drawing salaries without working, causing the district health department to spring into action.

A notice has been issued to 14 health officers in the district, demanding an explanation for these absent employees, leading to a stir in the department.

The notice directed that if any officers or employees at the Primary Health Center or Sub-Center are found to be illegally absent, detailed information should be sent immediately, and the concerned officers or employees should be promptly informed to report for duty.

The district health officer, Bharat Solanki, has initiated proceedings against the absent employees in the health department.

As the matter escalated, Desai reportedly submitted his resignation to prevent further complications.
