A new revelation has been made in the case of a body found in a car from Dhanpura village in Banaskantha's Vadgam taluka. It has been revealed that the accused used two bodies in the scheme to cheat the insurance.

In a shocking twist, it has been revealed that a man in Vadgam, Banaskantha, who faked his own death to claim insurance money, used two dead bodies.

Main accused Dalpatsinh had earlier claimed that he had used a dug up a four-month-old body to fake his own death, putting it in a car and then setting it on fire. However, the postmortem of the body revealed that the body belonged to someone who had died four months ago.

One of the other accused, during the interrogation, revealed that the body in car belonged to Revabhai Mohanbhai Thakor of Veerampura, an employee working in the hotel of accused Dalpatsinh for over two years.

The PM report has proven that the body found in the first car is not that of Rameshbhai Talshibhai Solanki of Dhelana village in Palanpur, as the accused had claimed earlier.

The body that was dug out was kept by Bhemaji Bhikhaji Rajput, a co-accused, around December 22, who kept it in a warehouse in his farm.

As the dug out body was more deteriorated than anticipated, the accused suspected that the insurance company would not believe them.

A new case of murder has been filed with the Vadgam police against six accused now.

Dalpatsinh Parmar was heavily in debt and had purchased an insurance policy worth ₹1 crore. According to the policy, the insurance money could only be claimed in the event of his death. In order to collect the insurance money, Parmar planned to fake his own death.

He placed the body in a car, and then set the car on fire. With the help of his friends, he staged the scene to make it appear as though he had died in a car accident due to burns.

Parmar’s brother had identified the burned body as Parmar’s and attempted to mislead the police.
