Marking the countdown for phase III elections in Gujarat, campaigning will halt by 6 pm today.

A total of 25 Lok Sabha constituencies, along with five Assembly seats in Gujarat, are set to vote, with the highest number of voters registered in Navsari and the lowest in Bharuch.

In the state, a total of 266 candidates, including 19 women, are in the fray. A total of 4,97,68,677 voters are eligible to cast their votes, with 50,788 polling stations set up for voting.

Twenty general, 2 SC (Scheduled Caste), and 4 ST (Scheduled Tribe) constituencies in Gujarat sum up the 26 constituencies.

Kutch is the largest constituency with 21,354 sq km, while Ahmedabad west is the smallest (107 sq km).

In Gujarat, Bharuch has the lowest number of registered voters at 17,23,353, whereas Navsari has the highest at 22,23,550.

• 17 lakh to 18 lakh: Bharuch, Ahmedabad west, Amreli, Porbandar, Mehsana, Anand, Surat and Junagadh

• 18 lakh to 19 lakh: Jamnagar, Chhota Udepur, Valsad, Dahod and Panchmahal

• 19 lakh to 20 lakh: Bhavnagar, Kutch, Vadodara, Banaskantha and Sabarkantha

• 20 lakh to 21 lakh: Kheda, Patan, Surendranagar, Ahmedabad east and Bardoli

• 21 lakh to 22 lakh: Rajkot and Gandhinagar

• More than 22 lakh: Navsari
