On the third day of the ongoing Class 10 and 12 board exams conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), a total of six cases of malpractice were reported across the state.

Among these, a dummy candidate was caught at an exam center in Amreli of Class 10, while one student each in Surendranagar and Junagadh was found with a mobile phone on Saturday.

Overall, Class 10 and 12 exam papers were relatively easy. However, some visually impaired students faced difficulties with certain questions in the Class 10 Mathematics paper.

Students found relief as the Class 10 Mathematics and Class 12 Science Chemistry papers were easier than expected. Students who had prepared according to textbooks and the board’s blueprint were particularly happy with the Class 10 Basic Mathematics exam.

The Standard Mathematics paper also followed the set blueprint, with theorem-based questions being as expected. However, four to five multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the Standard Mathematics paper were slightly tricky, challenging the students.

In Class 12 General Stream, the Commerce paper was also relatively easy. However, one student in Botad was caught cheating during the exam.
