Gujarat is ranked seventh in the country in attracting foreign tourists. According to the information presented by the Indian Tourism Department, over 53,00,000 tourists visit India by air every year across the country.

In which, Gujarat’s Ahmedabad airport ranks 7th in the arrival of foreign tourists at different airports in the country.

Uttarayan attracted more foreign tourists coming to Gujarat

According to reports, as many as 1,76,086 foreign tourists arrived at Ahmedabad airport. Which accounts for 3.28% of the total foreign tourists in India.

Apart from this, Somnath, Dwarka, Gir, Ambaji, and the White Rann of Kutch have attracted more foreign tourists coming to Gujarat.

However, foreign tourists also arrive directly at Surat, Rajkot, Diu airports other than Ahmedabad.
