Three women, two men detained over booze party in Vastrapur’s NRI Towers

Two men and three women were detained by Vastrapur police after they were caught consuming alcohol at NRI Towers in Ahmedabad’s Judges Bungalows area.

The residents of the apartment  were troubled by the ongoing party and had informed the police control room, prompting the raid.

The Vastrapur police staff was on patrol on Saturday night when they received a message from the control room that a liquor party was underway in a flat at NRI Towers. Acting on this tip-off, police raided the flat and found three men and two women intoxicated.

Upon questioning, the detained individuals were identified as Chetan Kompela (resident of Shilp Revanta Apartments, Shela), Kalpit Thakkar (resident of CTM), Roshni Goyenka, Preeti Agrawal, and Lakshmi Koya.

It was learned that Preeti Agrawal, Roshni, and Lakshmi Koya were living in the rented flat, where the party was going on. Vastrapur police have registered a case under prohibition laws and further investigation is underway.
