Updated: Apr 16th, 2024

BJP’s candidate for the Vadodara Lok Sabha seat Dr Hemang Joshi filled his nomination form before the district collector while conducting a padayatra today. Mehul Lakhani filled out the form as a dummy candidate.

Dr Hemang Joshi said that in the victory rally yesterday (Apr 15), we saw that a triumphant atmosphere was created as a result of the hard work of all the workers.

He added that he had gone to Panchmukhi temple this morning, and after that went to ISKCON temple to take the blessings of elders before going to the collector office on foot along with senior leaders and workers.

Talking to the media, he said that his focus is on advancing the developments implemented by Ranjan Bhatt. He said that the efforts will be made to improve education, health, road and rail structure, and create more jobs. Efforts will also be made to promote the culture and heritage in Vadodara.

He further added that there is a productive dialogue between the Kshatriya community and the Mavdi community. The Kshatriya community has always made efforts to save the identity of Gujarat and India. They have been and will be with religion. Our state president CR Patil has recently said that the Vadodara seat can get a lead of 10 lakhs and has also given the guidelines, which we will follow.

He added that the large turn-up in his rallies is indicative of people leaning towards the BJP.
