Daylight horror unfolds in Surat; man murdered with swords by assailants

In a shocking incident from the streets of Surat, a man was murdered by a group of swordsmen in broad daylight in the city’s Udhna area.

As per the information received, this incident took place near the Laxminarayan temple in Udhna.

The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Bhajan Singh, who was en route to meet his sister when his car was intercepted by two vehicles. Following this, a group of men carrying swords got out of the vehicles and attacked Singh.

After taking multiple blows from the attackers, Singh succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Singh reportedly lived in Anand’s Vadod village with his family, including his mother, wife, two daughters, and a son.

A preliminary investigation suggests that the assailants murdered Singh out of personal enmity.

Upon being prompted by this incident, senior police officers reached the spot and are currently investigating the case as well as being on the lookout for the accused.
