Crackdown on bogus doctors in Ahmedabad; clinics sealed

Clinics of 10 doctors from seven zones of Ahmedabad were sealed by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC)’s Health Department on September 6.
AMC’s in-charge medical officer of health, Dr Bhavin Solanki said, “The doctors’ medical degrees to practise allopathic treatment were investigated by the health department.”
Despite not having a recognized degree, these doctors admitted patients as indoor patients and administered IV fluids and allopathic injections.
