Couple returning from temple dies in accident near Vastral

A tragic accident occurred on SP Ring Road near the Panjrapol Crossroads, Vastral, resulting in the death of a couple on Thursday morning around 7.30 am.  

The incident took place as the couple was returning from a temple visit. A speeding truck struck them near the Vastral Ring Road junction. Both individuals sustained severe injuries and succumbed to their injuries on the spot.  

The Ramol Police and I-Division Traffic Police arrived promptly at the scene to take charge of the situation. Authorities have initiated a detailed investigation into the incident.  

The deceased have been identified as Kanti Patel (age 62) and Daksha Patel (age 60), according to reports.
