Couple dies by suicide in Chiloda village near Gandhinagar

An uneventful incident was reported from Chiloda, where a young couple died by suicide early Friday morning.

According to officials from Chiloda Police Station, the police received a call around 8.30 am informing them about an unidentified couple found hanging on the tree. Following the alert, a police team rushed to the spot and began investigation.

The couple, believed to be around 30 years old, was found hanging from a mango tree near a government borewell close to a pond on the outskirts of the village.

Police said further inquiry and legal procedures are currently underway to identify the individuals and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
