Coast Guard rescues crew of foundered boat in mid-ocean near Porbandar

With swift action, the Indian Coast Guard promptly answered an SOS call on Mar 25, rescuing five fishermen from the Indian fishing vessel ‘Premsagar’ as it foundered approximately 50 km from Porbandar in mid-sea.
The Coast Guard Ship C-161 was urgently deployed, and all five crew members were rescued from the boat, which was flooded with water. The rescued crew has been provided medical care and is being brought to the harbour.
