Moksh Rathod secures AIR 5 through disciplined self-study and time management

Moksh Rathod, who secured All India Rank 5, said he had set a target of achieving a top rank in CA Intermediate after securing the 8th rank in CA Foundation.

“I had joined J.K. Shah Classes early and developed the habit of revising daily. During the last three months, I studied in the library for 8 to 10 hours every day. To prioritise my studies, I skipped several family functions and weddings. However, with proper time management, I still celebrated festivals with friends at classes,” he said.

Moksh comes from a family of Chartered Accountants, with both his grandfather and father being practising CAs. He will become the third generation CA in his family. His mother has completed a computer course, while his brother is a mechanical engineer who is set to join Google.

He aspires to build a career in taxation and hopes to pursue articleship in fields such as mergers and acquisitions with a Big Four firm. He also aims to secure a place in the top 10 ranks in the CA Final examination.

Stuti Goenka secures AIR 10 with 10-12 hours of daily preparation

Stuti Goenka, who secured All India Rank 10 with 484 marks, credited her success to consistent hard work and discipline.

“This success is the result of studying regularly for 10 to 12 hours every day with complete discipline. My family also made many sacrifices during this journey. I avoided attending family functions and parties over the last two months, while my family ensured a study-friendly environment by taking care of even small things such as keeping the television volume low. My mother made sure there were no distractions in my studies,” she said.

Stuti added that she remained calm during the examination and focused on giving her best.

“I believed I had prepared to the best of my ability and left the rest to God,” she said.

Her family expressed immense happiness over the achievement. Stuti now plans to pursue articleship with a Big Four firm and aims to specialise in taxation or finance.

Kanhaiya Sharma secures AIR 40 through consistency and dedication

Kanhaiya Sharma, who secured All India Rank 40, said consistent preparation and guidance from teachers played a key role in his achievement.

“I studied with complete dedication. With proper guidance from my teachers and by following the experiences shared by senior Chartered Accountants, I was able to achieve this goal. I studied for 8 to 10 hours daily and followed a fixed timetable to complete classes, homework and revision of the day’s lessons on the same day,” he said.

To achieve his goal, Kanhaiya sacrificed outings with friends, Sunday leisure activities, family functions and festival celebrations.

His father runs a business related to polishing wooden temples, while his mother is a homemaker. His achievement has been seen as particularly inspiring, considering the limited resources available to the family.

The success of Moksh Rathod, Stuti Goenka and Kanhaiya Sharma has brought pride to Ahmedabad, with all three students earning places in the All India Top 50 in the CA Intermediate examination.
