Builder open fires in Kheda society over road dispute
An incident of firing has sent shock waves in Galteshwar, Kheda district, where a dispute over road access between the builder of Amir Hamza Residency and the residents of KGN Society took a dangerous turn. The situation escalated when the builder, Shakeel Haji, allegedly opened fire, spreading panic among the locals. The matter eventually reached the police.
As per sources, the builder accompanied by 15 to 20 men carrying swords and stick stormed into the society, vandalising property and causing chaos. The incident reportedly began when m residents of KGN Society approached the builder to discuss issues related to the usage of their internal roads.
Haji, who was developing a new site, had been frequently using the society’s road for his project, which had created tension with the residents.
When the residents confronted him, things spiralled out of control. Haji and his group allegedly threatened the locals and even attempted to attack them. Amid the chaos, a member from Haji’s group opened fire.
The police are investigating the matter, and the locals are demanding strict action against the builder for his violent and intimidating behaviour.
