A series of bomb threat emails triggered panic across Gujarat on Tuesday, with the district court in Gandhinagar among places that received the warning message. The threats, sent via email, claimed that court premises would be blown up, prompting immediate security action.

Following the alert, police teams, Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), dog squads and additional personnel were deployed at the Gandhinagar court complex. Authorities evacuated the premises and launched a thorough search operation.

Soon after, similar threat emails were reported at the old high court premises in Ahmedabad, as well as courts in Vadodara and Valsad. Security agencies carried out intensive checking at all locations. Entry and exit points were sealed, and court complexes were cleared to facilitate detailed inspections.

In Vadodara, the District Court at Diwalipura received a threatening email on Tuesday morning, leading to heightened security. Police officials stated that soon after receiving the mail, teams rushed to the spot and initiated checks following all standard safety protocols.

The development follows a similar pattern seen a day earlier, when several prominent schools in Vadodara and Ahmedabad received bomb threats via email. Police conducted searches throughout the day, but no suspicious objects were found. Late in the evening, Bright School in Karelibaug, Vadodara also received a similar message, causing concern among parents and students.

Investigations are under way to trace the origin of the emails and identify those responsible.
