A meeting was held between BJP leaders and Kshatriya community representatives today, at around 2.30 p.m., at Rajput Samaj Bhavan in Ahmedabad’s Gota.

Despite the prolonged efforts of the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) to extend the olive branch and put an end to the chaos, the meeting did not yield any positive outcome for both sides.

“We offered an apology on behalf of the party, but they unanimously took a stand to not accept our apology,” said former BJP minister Bhupendra Chudasama in his presser reportedly.

“They wanted us to cancel Parshottam Rupala’s ticket. They said that if the ticket is not cancelled, they will file an independent candidate.”

“No negotiations were possible with the Kshatriya community, and no other meeting will take place,” added Chudasama.
