Gujarat board exam fees hiked by 5%, will begin from 2025
The Gujarat Education Board has once again increased exam fees, with this year’s hike touching 5%.
The education board has also decided to conduct Class 10 and 12 board exams twice. The first set of exams will take place in February-March, and the second in June. This change means that students will face increased expenses for taking the exams twice.
Approximately 17 lakh students, including regular candidates, repeaters, and open candidates, appear for the 10th and 12th board exams each year. With the fee increase of 5% applicable to all candidates, this can result in financial burden for the students.
The fee hike will take effect from the 2025 board exams.
