35-year-old on bail rapes same 71-year-old woman again

Another shocking incident has come to light from Amod in Bharuch, where a 35-year-old man has allegedly raped a 71-year-old woman.

According to the information received, the 35-year-old accused sexually assaulted a 71-year-old woman in a farmland. A complaint has been filed at the Amod police station alleging that the accused, Shailesh Rathod.

Following the complaint, the Bharuch LCB and SOG teams have formed separate teams to apprehend the accused.

Rathod had previously raped the same elderly woman about a year and a half ago. A complaint was filed in this regard at the police station, and he was arrested. However, after being released on bail, he has again raped the same elderly woman.

Earlier on December 16, a 10-year-old was sexually assaulted by a neighbour in Bharuch. The victim died on Monday, suffering a cardiac arrest. The in that case is now on remand for 7 days for medical tests.
