20 Injured in bus accident on Surendranagar-chotila highway

A government bus carrying over 30 passengers plunged into a pothole on the Surendranagar-Chotila highway, leaving more than 20 people injured. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported.

Upon receiving the news, emergency services promptly reached the accident site and transported the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. Preliminary investigations suggest that the bus driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and into the ditch.

Following the accident, the police and emergency services initiated a rescue operation. Due to the incident, traffic came to a standstill on the highway. However, the police managed to clear the congestion after two hours.

The police have registered a case and launched a thorough investigation into the accident.
