SRK dances, Salman arrives: Revati Sule’s wedding becomes Mumbai’s biggest social event

Revati Sule, the granddaughter of veteran politician Sharad Pawar and daughter of NCP (SP) leader Supriya Sule, married businessman Sarang Lakhani in a grand wedding ceremony held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The wedding attracted several famous personalities from Bollywood, politics, and the business world, making it one of the most talked about social events of the year.

The two-day celebration began with a lavish sangeet ceremony on June 19. One of the biggest highlights of the evening was the appearance of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who danced with the bride and groom on the popular song ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ from ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.’ Videos of Shah Rukh performing his famous open-arm pose quickly went viral on social media and gained widespread attention.

The wedding ceremony on June 20 was attended by several top Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Ravi Kishan, and Ritesh Sidhwani. Salman Khan's all black outfit and new bald look also became a major topic of discussion among fans and media outlets. Business leaders and industrialists were also present at the event. Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani attended the wedding along with Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Anil Ambani was also seen among the guests.

Revati Sule comes from one of Maharashtra's most well-known political families. She is the daughter of Member of Parliament Supriya Sule and businessman Sadanand Sule. Despite her family's strong political background, Revati has maintained a low public profile and has largely stayed away from active politics. She reportedly completed her Economics degree from St. Xavier's College in Mumbai before moving to London for higher studies.

She later earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from the London School of Economics. Known for her private lifestyle, she rarely appears in the media except during family events and important occasions. 

The groom, Sarang Lakhani, is the son of industrialist and politician Arun Lakhani. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Nagpur-based Vishvaraj Group. Apart from his business responsibilities, Sarang has also represented India in international badminton competitions. 

After the wedding ceremony, the newly married couple made their first public appearance together in matching white outfits, receiving warm wishes from family members, friends, and guests.
