Salman Khan Family Set To Move From Galaxy Apartments After Over 50 Years

Salman Khan and his family are reportedly preparing to move from their long-time residence, Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra, after living there for more than five decades. The Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority has approved the construction of a new sea-facing building, which is registered in the name of Salman’s mother, Salma Khan. The family, however, has not made any official announcement regarding the move.

New sea-facing residence planned

The proposed property is located in Bandra and is expected to become the Khan family’s new home once construction is completed. According to reports, the new building has received the necessary approval from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority.

Security concerns at Galaxy Apartments

Galaxy Apartments, located on the main road leading towards Band Stand, has long been a popular spot where fans gathered to catch a glimpse of Salman Khan. However, after members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly opened fire outside the building, Salman stopped greeting fans from the balcony.

Following the incident, security around the residence was significantly increased. A police vehicle remains stationed outside the building, and public gatherings near the apartment are no longer permitted.

Focus on security at new home

Reports suggest that security will be a key consideration in the design and planning of the family’s new residence. Apart from the Bandra property, Salman Khan also owns a farmhouse in Panvel.
