Andy Byron Coldplay scandal: What we know so far

Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, was seen attending the Coldplay concert on Thursday with Kriston Cabot, the Head of HR at the same company.

They were spotted together during the concert when the ‘kiss cam’ was circulating and captured both of them. 

In a viral video that is making rounds on social media, they were seen hugging, with Byron holding her from behind when the ‘kiss cam’ focused on them.

As soon as they realised they were on camera, the CEO bent down, gesturing with his hands for the camera to move away, while the HR head turned around to avoid being seen.

In the video, as they tried to avoid the camera, Chris Martin was heard saying, “They are either having an affair or shy.” This caught the attention of the audience, who soon realised that the man was the CEO of Astronomer.

Both the HR head and the CEO are married to different people. As the video went viral, social media was flooded with claims of the two having an extramarital affair.

Social media users also noted that Meg Kerrigan, Andy Byron’s wife, had removed ‘Byron’ from her last name and deactivated her Facebook account.

Andy Byron’s LinkedIn profile is now inaccessible to the public, and no official statement has been released by either the CEO or the HR head regarding the incident caught on camera.

Adding to the controversy, business tycoon Elon Musk reacted with a laughing emoji on X to a fake post from a parody account that claimed to be a statement from Astronomer, which read: “Let me start by apologising to my family, my wife, and my wonderful employees. My behavior is inexcusable, and the shame I am receiving is well deserved. I tried to hide my actions, but the truth has been revealed.”

It is important to note that this post was fake and not an official statement from the Astronomer company.
