Akshay Kumar reacts to Pahalgam terror attack at Kesari 2 screening

Akshay Kumar joined by co-star R Madhavan attended a special screening of his latest film ‘Kesari 2’ on Saturday where the former reacted to the recent Pahalgam terror attack.
Addressing the audience, he reportedly said, “Even today, the same anger is rising in our hearts. We all know what I’m talking about. To the terrorists, I want to say the same words as my character in the film.” The audience responded in unison with the dialogue from the film, “F*** you.”
Earlier, Akshay had shared his shock on X, writing, “Horrified to know of the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Sheer evil to kill innocent people like this. Prayers for their families.”
Kesari 2 is based on ‘The Case That Shook the Empire’ by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, where Akshay plays C Sankaran Nair, a lawyer fighting against British rule to reveal the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
The recent attack in Baisaran meadow, Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, which killed 28 people, has deeply impacted the state’s tourism industry.
