Arijit Singh cancels chennai concert to honor Pahalgam attack victims

Popular singer Arijit Singh has shared an important update regarding his upcoming Chennai concert, which was scheduled to take place on April 27 (Sunday). In light of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the singer has announced that the show has been cancelled.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Arijit reshared a post from the event’s organizers, confirming the cancellation. The decision, as per the statement, was made to show solidarity with and pay tribute to the victims of the April 22 Pahalgam attack, which claimed several lives.
The organizers’ post, reshared by Arijit, stated that all ticket holders will receive a full refund. “Thank you for understanding,” the post concluded, accompanied by a folded hands emoji—a gesture of respect and gratitude.
The terror strike in Pahalgam, which killed 28 people, mostly tourists, on Tuesday, triggered widespread condemnation from across the global spectrum.
