Three Houses Gutted in Massive Fire in Bodeli

Three residential houses were gutted in a massive fire that broke out in Patna village of Bodeli taluka, destroying household belongings, food grains and cattle fodder stored inside the homes, officials said.

The blaze completely razed the three houses before firefighters reached the spot. No casualties have been reported, although the initial estimate suggests property worth lakhs of rupees was destroyed. 

Houses destroyed

According to information received, the fire destroyed the houses belonging to:

• Subhashbhai Manabhai Baria
• Mahendrabhai Chandubhai Baria
• Naginbhai Ramjibhai Baria

The fire reduced the families' homes and belongings, accumulated over several years, to ashes, creating an atmosphere of grief in the village.

Firefighting operation

After receiving information about the incident, the fire brigade of the Bodeli Market Committee rushed to the spot.

However, before firefighters arrived, the blaze had completely engulfed all three houses, reducing them to rubble.

Local residents and fire brigade personnel brought the fire under control after prolonged efforts.

Cause under investigation

The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

While no fatalities have been reported, preliminary information indicates that the affected families suffered losses worth lakhs of rupees.

Villagers have demanded immediate government assistance for the affected families.
