Okha-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat to shift to Sabarmati Junction, Ambli Road gets new stop

The Railway Board has approved significant changes to the operation of the Okha–Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express (Train Nos. 22925/22926), including revisions to its timings, terminal station and operating schedule.

According to the latest notification issued by the Railway Board, the semi-high-speed train will no longer originate from and terminate at Ahmedabad (Kalupur) railway station. Instead, the service will now commence from and conclude at Sabarmati Junction.

In a move aimed at improving convenience for passengers residing in western parts of Ahmedabad, Ambli Road railway station has been added as a new stoppage on the route. The train will halt at Ambli Road for two minutes in both directions.

With existing connectivity through Sanand and the addition of Ambli Road, the revised arrangement is expected to benefit commuters from western Ahmedabad, Sanand and surrounding areas by providing easier access to the Vande Bharat service.
