Based on the woman’s complaint and CCTV footage, Uttaran Police registered a case against Golkiya and Parmar under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Police arrested Golkiya shortly after the complaint was filed. Further investigation is underway.

Police said the couple got married in 2010 and have two daughters, aged 12 and 16.
