Team India Victory Parade: Champions’ procession reaches Wankhede stadium

After winning the T20 World Cup, a road show has been organized in Mumbai today by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). From Nariman Point to Wankhede Stadium, the players of the Indian cricket team will ride in an open bus for a victory parade.

• The ‘Victory Parade’ has reached Wankhede Stadium, where a celebratory event is to be carried out.
• Champions take out around 1 km long victory parade on Mumbai’s Marine Drive road. 
• Indian players departs from Mumbai airport, enroute to BCCI office in Mumbai’s Churchgate area. The team will participate in an open bus victory parade from this location.
• Team India arrives at Mumbai airport from Delhi’s IGI airport.

A huge crowd has thronged the streets of Mumbai for a glimpse of Team India on the Marine Drive and at the Wankhede Stadium.

According to reports, approximately 3 lakh people have gathered at the Marine Drive, and the Mumbai Police have appealed the people to not flock to Marine Drive anymore.

The team has arrived at the Mumbai airport, according to reports.
