Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf has been suspended for two ODIs, while India captain Suryakumar Yadav has been fined 30% of his match fee, as the ICC imposed sanctions for offences committed during the high-voltage Asia Cup 2025 India-Pakistan clashes, the world body said on Tuesday.

Rauf has been hit with a two-match suspension and will now miss Pakistan’s ODIs against South Africa on November 4 and 6. The ICC said the pacer was found guilty of a breach of Article 2.21 of the Code of Conduct during the Asia Cup final on September 28, following a hearing conducted by ICC Match Referee Richie Richardson.

Rauf was fined 30% of his match fee and given two demerit points for the final taking his tally to four demerit points within 24 months, which automatically converted into two suspension points under the Code. Rauf had earlier been penalised and given two demerit points for the same offence during the September 14 group stage match against India.

Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav has been fined 30% of his match fee and handed two demerit points for a breach of Article 2.21 during the September 14 encounter.

Pakistan batter Sahibzada Farhan has also been officially warned and given one demerit point for his gun celebration after scoring a fifty against India during the Super 4 match in Dubai.

Among other decisions, Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh was cleared of a charge under Article 2.6 relating to obscene or insulting gestures during the September 21 match, while Jasprit Bumrah was issued an official warning and given one demerit point for a Level 1 offence during the September 28 final.
