Spain is expected to host the final match of the 2030 FIFA world cup, according to the president of the Spanish football federation, Rafael Louzan. He said this during a recent public event, calling it a big moment for Spanish football, as per reports.

The 2030 world cup will be jointly hosted by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. While matches will be played in all three countries, Spain is expected to take the lead role and host the most important match ‘‘the final”.

So far, FIFA has not officially confirmed the final venue, but reports suggest famous stadiums like Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid or Camp Nou in Barcelona could host the final match.

Morocco has also shown interest in hosting the final at its new stadium in Casablanca. However, the final decision will be made by FIFA, not by individual football federations.

The 2030 world cup will be special because it will celebrate 100 years of the FIFA world cup. Some opening matches will also be played in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay where the first world cup was held in 1930.

If confirmed, hosting the final will further strengthen Spain’s position as a major global football destination.
