Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun gets engaged to Saaniya Chandok

Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar got engaged today to his childhood friend Saaniya Chandok, the granddaughter of prominent businessman Ravi Ghai, as per reports.

Close family members and friends from both sides reportedly attended the engagement ceremony. The Ghai family is a well-known and influential business family from Mumbai, owning the InterContinental Marine Drive Hotel and the low-calorie ice cream brand Brooklyn Creamery.

So far, Arjun has played 17 First-Class matches, 18 List-A matches, and 24 T20 matches. In First-Class cricket, he has taken 37 wickets at an average of 33.51 and scored 532 runs at an average of 23.13. In List-A cricket, he has 25 wickets at an average of 31.2 and 102 runs at an average of 17.

In T20 cricket, the 25-year-old has claimed 27 wickets at an average of 25.07 and scored 119 runs at an average of 13.22. Arjun currently represents Goa in domestic cricket, having previously played for Mumbai. In the IPL, he has so far played 5 matches for Mumbai Indians, taking 3 wickets and scoring 13 runs.
