Tennis legend Roger Federer has joined the ranks of global sports billionaires, with a net worth of US $1.3 billion (~₹11,149 cr), according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

According to the reports, the latest calculations place him among the few sports stars with a net worth exceeding $1 billion. He has reportedly joined the list of billionaire athletes, including renowned basketball player Michael Jordan. Federer’s net worth also includes the long-term sponsorship deals signed during his 24-year career.

Federer played on the ATP Tour for over two decades, facing off against some of tennis’s most formidable athletes. He claimed 16 of his 20 Grand Slam titles from 2003 to 2010, reigning supreme in men’s tennis throughout the 2000s.

Born in Switzerland, Federer has won eight Wimbledon titles, the most in history by a male player. He also won Olympic gold in doubles (Beijing 2008) and silver in singles (London 2012).

He also reportedly holds long-term sponsorships with brands like Uniqlo, Rolex, Wilson, and Mercedes-Benz, and has investments in the Swiss shoe company On.
