Australia wins, Indian dream ends

With a comprehensive win by six wickets in the final, Australia came out triumphant in the World Cup 2023 final, in front of a packed Ahmedabad crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

This marks the sixth World Cup Win for Australia, the highest by any team.

As Ahmedabad filled up the Narendra Modi Stadium, it was Australia who won the toss and they decided to bowl first. Rohit Sharma, taking to the presenter Ravi Shastri, admitted that he would have also batted first had he won the toss.
