Hardik Pandya faces cheating allegations over viral instagram post

Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya has once again become the subject of social media discussion after a viral Instagram post sparked speculation about his personal life.

Rumours circulating online suggested that Pandya may have cheated on his former wife Natasa Stankovic with model and his alleged current girlfriend Mahieka Sharma, when Pandya and Natasa were married. However, it was clarified later that the claims were largely based on interpretations of social media activity rather than confirmed facts.

The controversy reportedly began after a celebratory Instagram post by sports nutritionist Nicole Linhares Kedia went viral following India’s victory at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. In the long caption, she spoke about meeting Pandya two years ago and praised the support system around him, including Mahieka Sharma.

Following the post, a user on X (formerly Twitter) alleged that Pandya had been dating Sharma for two years while still married to Stankovic. The post claimed Stankovic faced trolling online despite the alleged situation and praised her for not responding publicly to criticism.

The claim quickly spread across social media, triggering mixed reactions among users. Some criticised Pandya and accused fans of defending him despite the allegations. Others, however, argued that the viral post was being misinterpreted.

One user wrote that the caption was about Pandya’s nutritionist and warned against drawing conclusions from social media posts, saying misinterpreting such captions could create unnecessary backlash.

So far, neither Pandya nor the people involved have publicly addressed the speculation, and there is no official confirmation supporting the allegations circulating online.
