Gujarat batsman Priyank Panchal named as the captain for West Zone in Deodhar Trophy
The tournament will start on July 24
Eight players from Gujarat, Saurashtra, and Baroda have been selected

Gujarat's opening batsman Priyank Panchal has also been selected as the captain of the West Zone in the Duleep Trophy and Deodhar Trophy one-day tournament.
A total of eight players from Gujarat, Saurashtra, and Baroda have been included in the West Zone team of the Deodhar Trophy. The tournament will start on July 24.
Shivam Dube makes it to the team
Chennai Super Kings' Shivam Dube, who has made a remarkable appearance in the IPL, has also been included in the West Zone squad. Dube scored a total of 418 runs in 16 IPL matches.
Players from Gujarat, Saurashtra, and Baroda
Along with Priyank Panchal, Gujarat’s wicketkeeper-batsman Het Patel and fast bowlers Chintan Gaja and Azan Nagwaswala have also been named in the Deodhar Trophy West Zone team. Saurashtra's Harvik Desai, Samarth Vyas and Parth Bhut, and Baroda's fast bowling all-rounder Atit Seth were also included in the team.
Chetan Sakariya, Yuvrajsinh Dodiya, Kathan Patel, A Kazi, and Tushar Deshpande have been selected as the standbys.
