Gautam Gambhir’s response to Tharoors’ praise sparks debate
Indian cricket team’s head coach Gautam Gambhir sparked a fresh debate on social media after reacting to a post by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor ahead of the IND VS New Zealand T20I series.
After India's first T20I win in Nagpur, Gambhir replied to Tharoor's tweet, but his response surprised many fans. While Tharoor had praised Gambhir’s leadership , Gambhir hinted that he does not have full control over team decisions, which led to widespread discussion online.
