Former cricketer Shikhar Dhawan to marry Sophie Shine this February

Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, known as ‘Gabbar’ among cricket fans, is now all set to get married for the second time. He will tie the knot with his longtime partner, Sophie Shine, in a private ceremony in Delhi-NCR in February 2026, as per reports.
Sophie Shine, an Irish corporate professional and Vice President at Northern Trust Corporation, has been by Dhawan’s side for over a year. The couple, who first sparked public interest in 2025 when they were spotted together during a Champions Trophy match in Dubai, have maintained a largely private relationship. After that, in 2025, they started sharing pictures together on social media.
In addition to her corporate career, Sophie is actively involved with the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation, supporting initiatives related to sports development and social welfare alongside Dhawan’s sports venture, Da One Sports. She was also seen accompanying Dhawan during the IPL 2024 season while he represented the Punjab Kings.
This will be Dhawan’s second marriage. He was previously married to Ayesha Mukherjee in 2012, with whom he shares a son, Zoravar. The couple finalized their divorce in October 2023.
