Football fans who want to watch the FIFA world cup live in the stadium will get another chance this week, as FIFA has announced a new sale of match tickets.

According to the announcement, a fresh batch of tickets will go on sale on Wednesday. The sale will begin at 8 am Pacific Time and will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis through FIFA’s official website. To manage the heavy rush, a special online queue system will be used so that fans can enter one by one and book their tickets easily.

FIFA said that tickets for all 104 matches will be available in this phase. Once fans enter the booking system, they will be able to check which matches still have tickets, choose their seats from a seat map, and complete the payment. There is also an option called “Book the best seat” for those who want quick booking without selecting seats manually. After payment, fans will receive confirmation of their tickets.

The upcoming World Cup will be held across three countries — the United States, Canada, and Mexico — and will start in less than two months.

FIFA  also shared that around 5 million tickets have already been sold. More tickets may be released in the coming weeks as the tournament gets closer, giving fans more chances to watch the matches live.
