An array of celebrities, spanning Bollywood, and politics, are expected to remain present for the high-profile World Cup encounter.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly offered a golden ticket to the India Vs Pakistan match to celebrities including cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, actors Amitabh Bachchan, and  Rajnikanth.

Varun Dhawan is also expected. Chartered flight services have begun at Ahmedabad airport, but the complete list of celebrities has not been disclosed.

The BCCI has also officially announced that the playback singer, Arijit Singh, will perform before the 2023 World Cup showdown between India and Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Oct 14 at 12.30 p.m.

Well-known singers Shankar Mahadevan and Sukhwinder Singh are also expected to perform right before the toss at 12.30 p.m. 

Braving the heat, traffic and parking, and tight security checks, the fans will be expected to take their seats by 2 p.m. when the first ball will be bowled. 

As Pakistani journalists have received the long-awaited visas to cover the India Vs Pakistan match, 60 Pakistani journalists are likely to remain present for the epic match.

A lot of cricket fans from Pakistan had also applied for an Indian visa, but their status is still uncertain.

Be prepared!

Entry at the stadium will begin at 10 a.m. while the match ends at 10.30 p.m. Match enthusiasts will have to be prepared to sit at the venue for almost 12 hours straight as the match is scheduled to get over by 10.30 p.m. 

While food and water is not allowed within the premises, Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) has made arrangements for free water and medical facilities. However, the food and bottled water available at the venue is expected to be sold at surge prices.
