Dang’s Frany Chaudhary selected for BCCI under-15 girls one-day team

Frany Chaudhary, a young cricketer from Chirapada village in Gujarat’s Dang district, has been selected as an all-rounder in the BCCI Under-15 Girls One-Day team, marking a proud moment for the district and the tribal community.

Frany’s selection for the prestigious national-level tournament is being seen as a historic achievement, as she has brought recognition to the Dang region through her performance in cricket.

She is currently undergoing professional training at a cricket academy in Surat under the guidance of coach Dhansukh Patel.

Frany is pursuing her education at JB Diamond School in Surat, while simultaneously focusing on her cricketing career. She has also trained under the mentorship of coach Chirag Patel at the Jai Ambe Cricket Academy, where she honed her skills and prepared for competitive cricket.

Her father, Arvind Chaudhary, is serving with the SRP unit at Vav, and the family has played a key role in supporting her sporting aspirations.

Meanwhile, the Surat District Cricket Association (SDCA) extended its congratulations through an official post on social media. The association congratulated Siya Chaudhary, Prachi Parmar, Frany Chaudhary, Dhara Patel and Anya Patel on their selection for the BCCI Under-15 Women’s One-Day Trophy 2025–26.
