India’s Preeti delivered a flawless performance to win the women’s 54kg boxing gold medal at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow, defeating Canada’s S.S. Delgado by a unanimous 5-0 decision in the final at SEC Hall 5 on Saturday.

The Indian boxer dominated the contest from start to finish, with all five judges awarding her every round by a 10-9 margin for a perfect 30-27 scorecard.
