Cricket academy backed by Sachin Tendulkar set to open in Ahmedabad

For training young cricket aspirants aged five and above, a high performance training facility backed by Sachin Tendulkar is slated to open in Ahmedabad on April 10.
SRT10 Aletvol Centre of Excellence Cricket Academy will come up at Shanku’s Farm, near Vaishnodevi Circle on SG Road, on a 40,000 sq yard campus.
It will offer structured coaching programmes with professional cricket nets, an in-house ground, a gymnasium, and a running track.
The Ahmedabad launch builds on the foundation laid by the SRT10 ecosystem, including the SRT10 Global Academy at DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.
Former first-class/Team India cricketers will mentor the young talents, according to a statement by academy.
The programme is led by Dr Atul Gaikwad, Global Head Coach, SRT10 Global Academy.
Admissions are open for morning and evening batches, with special summer discounts. A free trial is also being offered.
