The men’s cricket team also extended its dominance in the limited-overs format by winning the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai. Playing at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, the Indian teams defeated Nepal in their respective finals to lift the trophies at the inaugural edition of the World Cup, finishing the tournament unbeaten.
