According to reports, Ajizshah was travelling with his son in a rickshaw to attend an Urs, a religious gathering, in Morbi. The two had stopped at a tea stall near Hadala when the speeding truck allegedly crashed into the rickshaw.
Ajizshah died in the accident in front of his son.
The second victim, Kano Humbal, was reportedly a resident of the Madhapar area and the only brother of five sisters, including folk singer Mira Ahir.
Kano had reportedly gone out for tea with friends when the accident occurred. His death has left his family and residents of the village in shock and mourning.

After the collision, the truck driver allegedly abandoned the vehicle near Tankara and fled under the cover of darkness.
After receiving information about the accident, Kuvadva police reached the spot and shifted both bodies to a hospital for post-mortem examinations.
