A US-returned entrepreneur, Aniruddha Anjani, recently took to Instagram (@growwith_ani) to share why he left the US a decade ago to return to India. In his heartfelt post, he called it the best decision of his life, as it allowed him to spend valuable time with his family.

Anjani recalled facing backlash and scepticism when he announced his decision to return. Many friends and relatives speculated or feared Trump’s policies. However, he clarified that none of these assumptions were true – his sole reason was his parents, who needed him.

His caption on a social media post read, “Nothing is more important than their smile! 😊❤️”

“When I last posted about returning to India after living in the US for over 10 years because my parents needed me, I received many comments assuming that I must have lost my job or faced visa issues. But the real reason was that I wanted to spend time with my parents—who sacrificed so much for me—knowing they would never ask me to return,” he wrote.

“No matter what people said, I wanted to be there for my family. The smile I came back for, the smile on my parents’ faces, made every effort worth it,” concluded Anjani.
