NRI software engineer renounces luxurious lifestyle, adopts diksha
A software engineer in the US has set off on a spiritual journey as he has decided to renounce his career and luxurious lifestyle, accepting austerity in India.
The engineer, Rishi Zaveri, earned his Master of Science in Canada. He also earned a black belt in karate and played flute in a marching band. His areas of interest also expanded to robotics and garba.
Zaveri, who has spent his entire childhood abroad, is now renouncing the luxurious life, going on a spiritual voyage.
From his guru, he learned the lifestyle of a Jain monk and then decided to follow that path.
He will soon be taking diksha and reside in a gurukul in India. He has met many people in Australia and New Zealand and shared the story of the changes in his life. Currently, he is presenting the significant events of his life transformation to the communities in the US.
