Indian student missing in US, embassy expresses concern

An Indian student, Saketh Sreenivasaiah from Karnataka, a postgraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, has gone missing in the United States, raising serious concern among family members.

​The Consulate General of India in San Francisco has expressed deep concern over his disappearance and confirms that it is actively coordinating with local authorities and the student’s parents.

​In X post, the Consulate General of India in San Francisco stated, “Consulate General of India in San Francisco is deeply concerned about the disappearance of Saketh Sreenivasaiah, an Indian post-graduate student of UC Berkeley, hailing from the State of Karnataka. The Consulate is in touch with the family and is also in contact with the concerned local authorities to locate the student.”

​Authorities are continuing search efforts as the family awaits further updates.
